True waterfront wilderness not accessible by road - we provide boat transportation 30 kms to resort, and our only neighbors are of the wildlife variety - unique enough to deserve a look at our web site. Mountains, sea, rainforest and tranquility. You don't have to win a lottery to unwind in this UNIQUE spectacular wilderness.
UNIQUE because we are truly a wilderness resort with no road access or neighbors of the human variety. Our rates include use of all our facilities (see our website) and of course, all the fresh seafood you can eat. We have a track record of two decades of safe, comfortable outdoor adventure.
Imagine sitting by an evening campfire on a remote beach only a few steps away from masses of succulent oysters, clams and mussels. Next, imagine beachcombing and collecting these tasty morsels, cooking them over that campfire, dipping them into your favorite combination of lemon and sauces and washing them down with your favorite wine or other beverage. Best of all, you're not in a crowded oyster bar paying a ridiculous price minus the setting sun, gurgling stream, chattering birds and squirrels and splashing seals.
That same campfire will work for red snapper and cod or perhaps some sea-run or freshwater cutthroat. In season, feast on wild mushrooms, sea asparagus and many varieties of berries.
When you're not eating, you might want to wear off a few calories fishing, paddling, hiking or biking. An amphibious vehicle will be available for guided "safari type" exploration to view and photograph scenery and wildlife during 2008 season.
We can accommodate up to sixteen (16) persons for family reunions, business or spiritual retreats, weddings, etc. We usually limit guests to a maximum number of twelve to ensure peace and quiet. For the same reason the camp is adult oriented and we usually do not accept pets. Children should be at least 10 years of age.

About our camp:
Our site has been described as "a small town" because of the trails and bridges that lead to cabins, sauna, covered kitchen and dining room, cedar deck, washhouse, covered firepits, flush toilets, etc situated amongst giant maples, firs, hemlock and cedar trees.
Leave the dishes, pots and pans, lawn chairs and camping gear behind. All you require is your sleeping bag, towel and food. We can even supply these if you wish.
You can fish from our docks or explore the miles of beach for seafood, starfish, crabs and a multitude of aquatic life that is so abundant.
Over twenty years ago we spent five years searching the Sunshine Coast and Desolation Sound for an ideal location for a wilderness resort. This was the best by far!
One last word!! We appreciate the peace, serenity and recreational aspects of our location and welcome guests with similar interests. If, however, you are searching for a place to party and "chill out", we recommend you search elsewhere.
