Description:

Explore Sechelt Inlet by kayak, paddleboard, canoe or Zodiac - view eagles perched high in the treetops or soaring overhead in search of food. Magnificent blue herons, lovely loons and a dozen variety of water-fowl grace the shoreline. Curious seals appear out of nowhere and accompany kayakers as they make their way. When it's time to rest, choose from eight wilderness beach parks or from many undeveloped beaches, islands or bays. The beach parks are maintained by BC Parks and offer tent-pads, outhouses, fire-rings, fresh water and warm swimming beaches. With no road or trail access, these secluded easy-access wilderness parks are ideal for both day-tripping as well as extended kayaking adventures.

The protected waters of Sechelt Inlet offer a safe environment for family kayaking, as well as a more challenging opportunity for experienced kayakers. All of this within two hours of downtown Vancouver!!

Pedals & Paddles opened in 1991 and has been offering exceptional service ever since. You can choose from self guided kayaking or canoeing or chose a guided trip, and our experienced staff will show you what you need to know to enjoy your paddle...no experience is necessary. We provide excellent equipment, the most ideal launching location and beach for paddling Sechelt Inlet with 9 free camp sites, laminated maps of the area, parking and gear storage.

We have a wealth of knowledge of the area and work very hard to ensure that our visitors have a happy, safe and memorable experience.

We simply offer a better kayaking experience! Pedals & Paddles now located on the beach at Lamb Bay, Tuwanek - 8km north of Sechelt on Porpoise Bay Road. Open 7 days per week July and August and by appointment the rest of the year. It is always best to phone ahead for reservations whenever possible - in the summer to avoid disappointment due to equipment availability, and in the off-season to ensure that we are here to serve you.
