The cottage accommodates four very comfortably with a maximum of six guests, including children.
The 61 year-old home has been carefully renovated to retain its original country charm, yet includes the most modern of amenities such as a Jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, and two complete home entertainment systems. To ensure an adequate supply of hot water there are two hot water tanks to serve the three showers, including a special hot/cold outdoor shower on the private cottage deck.
A huge stone fireplace dominates the large living and formal dining areas, while the generous sized kitchen includes a pine table for more casual dining. There is also a Grand Piano in the living room.
The master bedroom has a queen sized feather bed with beautiful pine furniture and French doors leading to the sun deck. For your entertainment there is a 28" television, DVD, and a stereo system. The four piece master bath is ensuite and includes a Jacuzzi tub surrounded by windows, but very private!
The yellow cedar paneled second bedroom also accommodates a queen size feather bed, television, VCR/DVD and a full ensuite bathroom.
The 600 sq. foot ocean view sun deck receives sunshine from dawn till dusk throughout the year. The deck includes a hot/cold outdoor shower with privacy screens, gas barbeque, outdoor table and chairs, plus lounge furniture and sun umbrella.
At the semi-private beach there is a large sun deck and cabana for the exclusive use of cabin guests. The deck has been designed for maximum privacy with the cabana providing a fridge, counter with sink, lockable storage as well as a sky lit changing room complete with sink, toilet, and hot/cold shower. Excellent swimming at the nearby sandbar at low tide, and a swim float is available at high tide.
For those interested in hiking, or a picnic, a 32 acre private park with a creek is available exclusively for use by Cabin Guests, just 3KM from the Cabin.
